Hello everyone and welcome to our 2nd newsletter since Nick Of Time began. We have been doing alot behind the scenes and have managed to get alot of people to consider rehoming a rescue animal, you'd be surprised how many had either never thought about it or thought no rescue would rehome to them. EDUCATION IS THE KEY
Now to the important things: ANIMALS
You may or may not have seen the appeal for 20 cats in Devon with the lovely Feline Network spearheading the rescue mission. The cats are feral so will need an outdoor home.
Feline Network says the following
We were approached by someone in Devon, who's father in law cannot keep his farm or animals due to ill health, so could we help with 20 - 3- un-neutered feral cats! I approached the cats protection, who agreed to fund the neutering of them all - but once this is done they all need new outdoor homes, this can be another farm, small holding, large pub garden, stables, kennels, nature reserve, anywhere in fact that there is room to roam, safety, shelter and some food provided.
We can help co-ordinate transport, but we need funding for the following; large pens to transport / house the cats. Worming and flea treatments. Some help with any medical issues that arise, and to help with food whilst they are being rehomed.
If you can help with either transport or offering a home, please contact me, Debbie, on 01803392550 or Tabby.cat@blueyonder.co.uk
As it is March and we are leading with the theme of Easter and the March hare this months animal of the month is:
Buzz and Woody are with RACR Rescue in Doncaster and looking for a new home of their own.
Buzz & Woody 2x 7month old brothers (To be homed together).. Little shy but friendly.. Handed into Kirkby rescue but no space so came here.. the owners had male and female rabbits and let them breed constantly not splitting them, they ended up over run so rabbits being pulled out..
