4 cats left behind in a house after death.

Hi all, we have a very sad situation in Clitheroe, an old lady has died and apparently four cats have been left to fend for themselves in a filthy house, don't know much more than this, do you know of anywhere that will take the cats in ? a friend of mine has tried the RSPCA but they are not interested...... any suggestions would be welcomed

Are there any more details, are the cats being fed etc - where is Clitheroe?

Clitheroe is Lancashire. These cats may be sorted - just awaiting definate.
