NAME: Hobo
AGE (Approx) 18 to 24 months?
COLOUR/DESCRIPTION: ginger - quite a big boy.
CIRCUMSTANCE: Awful start, found in a garden, possibly feral, he had an awful wheeze and was very snotty. The vet had to neuter him and under the anaesthetic he washed out the sinuses. Hobo had one side full of blood and the other full of pus. He must have been in so much pain. Poor thing. Still after months with us, he still hasn"t overcome his distrust of humans - but he"s not nasty, just afraid. I would love to give him a cuddle but he either hisses or hides. He needs a very special person to allow Hobo the time and space he needs, without expecting too much of him. He would love to be around other cats.
NEUTERED: Yes
WORMED/DEFLEAED 6 months ago, indoor semiferal so not that easy, will attempt again on rehoming..
MICROCHIPPED: Not yet
SOCIABILITY: Distrust of humans, great around all other cats
HEALTH ISSUES: May need immune support supplements and occasional check up for his sinuses. Have started him on a holistic medication for his sinuses.
LOOKING FOR: He needs an escape proof, loving home perhaps as a companion cat to other cat(s). He is excellent with other cats. Needs a home with someone who is up for a challenge and will forgive Hobo if he won’t progress to a lap cat and just be grateful they have such a handsome dude living with them.
