Drake. Mastiff, DOB 11 - Gatwick
Homing Requirements: Drake as a young large dog deserves dog experienced owners to welcome him into his home and offer him patience and direction as he adjusts to becoming their family dog. Secure garden and not too busy a household.
His Story: Drake was found stray in East London as a young dog. We have only been able to offer him kennelling but he is safe and loved whilst we look for his home. Drake is now neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated.
Advert: Drake has a certain 'Sir' feel about him. Young with dignity despite finding himself homeless. This breed has a royal feel. Drake seems to enjoy the company of other dogs but would need someone who has managed 2 dogs before for us to place him in, other than an only dog scenario, for his sake. He doesn't pull on the lead and relates really well to his guide. Travels well in the car too.'
Drake has a red fawn coat which with care and nurture will coat him into magnificence. A noble face with jowls and a friendly lick. He has a slight guardedness of the larger breed so his owners will need to keep him open and fluent and not reward his apprehension in anyway. He is doing remarkably well for a young dog in transition. Lucky family who chooses Drake as their own.
Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found
Please visit Drake's thread on our forum to find out if still available and for fuller details.
