How to find out about a dog

Hiya
I am looking for some advice.back in may 2009 I had to give my beloved dog up for rehoming.her name was sammy and she is a pointer cross spaniel.she was 2 years old when we signed her over to hope rescue.
I asked that I be kept informed regarding her future as she was loved so much by us however we never were.
I am just wondering how I would be able to find out how she is doing etc?
If could turn back time and have her back I really would but sadly can't.x

sarah,sadly the rescue will not give out info on where she is, Have you contacted Hope rescue about her?

I did try but they said they were busy with other dogs Which I understand x
