(Needs a cat friendly garden or a loving and patient new home.) Missy is a tabby and white neutered female, thought to be about 8 years old. She loves to lie in the sun and eats well. Missy was neglected by her owner so a very kind lady started looking after her. Her original owner moved away and Missy stayed with the kind lady who then had 2 neutered male house cats and Missy wouldn"t go into the house. The lady consulted with a cat rescue who advised Missy she was better off staying with her as she was familiar with her, so she made her a bed in her shed and Missy has been there ever since. In the summer when the lady`s doors are open Missy does go into the house, but doesn`t stay. This lady is also looking after Bernie (she has her own page as she too is looking for a new home) and Bernie doesn`t like the idea of Missy being in the house. Missy is not chipped or vaccinated, but is thought not to have any health issues. Missy is very shy and timid but she lets the lady who has been looking after her stroke her when she feeds her but she won`t allow herself to be picked up. The lady thinks that if Missy goes to live with someone who can give her time and patience and has no other cats, Missy may eventually become a house cat. Are you that person? Could you offer Missy a loving, forever home? She needs to move by the end of February.
