Pretty Bernie is a black and white long haired neutered female. She has huge hairy paws but does not scratch or bite. She is about 8 years old but very playful and loves to play with a piece of rope and a Sainsbury`s carrier. She loves being stroked and made a fuss of. She needs a new home by the end of February as her human mummy has to move and can`t take her with her. Bernie turned up one day looking for food, her coat was very matted so she had to go to the vet so that she could be groomed under anaesthetic. Since then she hasn`t been too keen on being combed but as long as her head is stroked at the same time she`s been OK with it. Her human mummy also had 2 neutered male cats when Bernie came to live with her, she was OK with them as the boys just ignored her and she stayed as a house cat. The boys died a couple of years ago and since then she has been an only cat and has become rather territorial and doesn"t like other cats in her garden. Missy (she has her own page as she is looking for a new home too) has been living in a shed in the garden and Bernie has just about put up with her, but she won`t let into the house. Her human mummy thinks Bernie might get on with older cats, but it`s likely she’ll prefer to be the only one. She is very sweet and clean, is house trained and uses a cat flap. She is not chipped or vaccinated. but is said to have no health issues or dietary requirements. Can you offer a new, forever home to Bernie?
