Homing Requirements: Dove could easily live with a dog or 2. She is 'terrier' so cats and small furries are too exciting. She has prey drive so leaded around livestock and streets where cats and foxes run a mock. Secure terrier-proof garden and exit management. Could possibly be first time dog owner’s dog due to her dog fluency and general charm!
Her Story: Dove was found walking down a high street at 2 am in the morning by the police. She obviously had a litter of pups somewhere as she was full of milk, but her condition was very poor so obviously no caring owner around. She was unclaimed and came to us for TLC. Her poor condition was due to malnutrition and under nutrition, basically related to all nourishment having gone to her pups. Now spayed, chipped and going through vax.
Advert: Doves fly from those they fear, but land and grace their loved ones with blessings. Dove has landed amongst our rescue to be admired and nurtured as her flight up until now, took its toll. Dove is dog fluent and a happy mixer. She could be an only dog or live with many. She is fostered on a small holding/chicken farm and her terrier traits don't make it easy!
Dove is a Parson's Jack Russell size and in nature BUT she definitely has the very loving gentle bull breed qualities of an English Bull. She is still a puppy in many ways and so mischievous which brings fun into her activities and her owner?! She is an easy terrier but needs training and support through her adolescence as she catches up, dots her i's and crosses her t's.
