Cross posted from www.rainrescue.co.uk/category/special-appeals/ Dumped in a dog pound with a mouth full of rotting teeth. Maisie has just had her vet check and needs an operation to remove most her teeth – they are so rotten and infected, and clean the rest. We are looking at a £300 vet bill, and are raising an appeal to pay for them. Maisie is also deaf – how callous of someone to throw her away like yesterday’s rubbish. If people could just donate a pound or two it would mean so much to this small rescue. Thank you. Attachments:

This update was on Rainrescue website this morning:
'THANK YOU EVERYONE – we have raised the £300 for Maisie’s operation – what kind generous people you are. I would like to name you all – and especially our last doner that paid the balance for us – Fiona – that was lovely. Thanks to everyone – no matter how large or how small – every single penny adds up – and the more pennies we have – the more pounds it makes – the more lives we can help.
Maisie had her teeth out, had a light meal and recovered well. Spent most of today sleeping. The vets think that she has regained a little bit of hearing in one ear and on this medication – may recover a little bit more. Once a little better – she will be off to Pets at Home, Kilner Way Hillsborough for a brilliant new groom. They are so good to us with our rescue dogs – and will make her look fabulous.'
