Stage 1
Deago fitted in so well with Walkies way of life straight away he adores other dogs. We had no problem introducing him to the pack every dog got on with him straight away. It’s amazing watching him run he goes so fast!! although his re call is pretty good, we have all got a soft spot for Deago he’s a lovely dog and so cuddly. He is good at being handled and he has a soft squishy side to him.
Stage 2
Deago has bonded really well with the other dogs Barney and him love racing each other. It makes us laugh as Deago does one huge sprint then gets tired and lays down on the floor!! Barney can keep going and going due to his hound stamina it dosen’t take him long to recover. Where as due to Deago’s Grey hound mix he needs time to recover before the next big sprint! Paul took Deago out in the car he was so well behaved and travels well. Now Deago is nice and settled we have been doing basic commands with him. He loved the liver treats we had and he listens well we are just working on building his concentration.
Stage 3
Deago has done so well with training and he walks on the lead so well now we have got very attached to him he’s such an amazing feller! Barney his friend the Hound was re homed and Deago missed his pal so much at first. So we spent lots of quality time with him to cheer him up. Deago soon found another best bud this time it was Poppi the Weimaraner x Vizla. They get on great and she can nearly out run him which is great fun for Deago. Deago is now ready to be re homed we are going to miss him so much. In the morning if we are not in the field with him at playtime he jumps the gate and waits for us at the back door . He then won’t leave our side and likes to follow us while we do kennel duties. Deago will make someone a fantastic companion he’s everything you would want in your best pal.
