Chrissy, Staffie X Collie, DOB 04.10 – Godalming, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Chrissy would love experienced dog owners as her confidence comes from her handlers. Can but rarely does, Collie pop which Collie owners understand. Her socialisation is improving this. She is proven to live with all ages of children. Loves people. She could live with another dog who will tolerate and enjoy her play. Not for cats or small furries.
Her Story: Chrissy was found stray in Wales in December 2010. The pound was full so we saved her as our Christmas present! Chrissy got a foster place and this family saw her through to spay; 6 months in kennels; then fostered with 2 other dogs. Homed for 6 months but now losing her home as she need more exercise and attention. She is spayed, chipped and vax'd.
Advert: Chrissyis sweet natured, but has missed out on life spending most of her growing time in kennels. She is excellent with young children and has lived with a 3 year old. Happy to meet dogs though still building confidence so needs continued socialisation. Housetrained with attention. Travels well in the car. Ideal for a basic training course and further socialisation to firm up her lifetime skills to match her superb nature.
Chrissy is a wonderful dog enjoying the loving Staffie nature with the intelligence and sensitivity of Collie. She has proved herself to be a wonderful family pet. Chrissy is so sweet and just hasn't had the life chances she deserves. Chrissy needs a confident home, loving her comes easily.
