When you do a transport run we suggest you:
Tell someone where you are going, an approximate time you will return back and who you are meeting there.
Take a fully charged mobile phone, a bottle of water and either a map or satelite navigation tool to ensure you don't get lost.
Ensure you have the correct details of the person you're meeting. Their phone number, car details including registration number and full name.
Double check with your car insurer that you are permitted to use your vehicle for voluntary work.
