POSTED ON BEHALF OF LARGE BREED DOG RESCUE Tubbs is a 9 week old Bull Mastiff Cross. Tubbs is currently in a foster home and is being shown the ropes by two gentle Dogue's and a cheeky French bulldog. His foster Mum believes he has some bull terrier in him so he may not be such a large boy. Like any puppy he is energetic and lively. He is learning boundries with his canine companions but this must be ongoing as he has a strong personality and will need ongoing socialisation with people and dogs. Tubbs likes his crate and sleeps in there with a soft, warm blanket all night. He will cry to be let out when he needs the toilet. His toilet training is coming along well, but he does have the occasional accident. Here's what his foster Mum says about him.... "he is at the stage where anything in his reach is fair game to pinch and chew., he does understand the word NO and is grasping LEAVE, he has a soft toy that he plays with and so far hasn’t tried to rip it up but if a unknowing cardboard box comes past he will happily rip it up, or if him indoors leaves his slippers away Tubbs will steal them and HIDE them under the cushion in his bed…" Tubbs' new family will ideally have experience of Bull Mastiffs and Bull Terriers and be quite active. Tubbs will be chipped and vaccinated and under contract to be castrated at 6 months. FOR PICTURES AND INFORMATION ON ADOPTING TUBBS PLEASE VISIT: www.largebreeddogrescue.com/tubbs.php
