Homing requirements: Ellie needs a stable family who enjoy an active/interactive lifestyle. Ellie carries a sadness still with her and needs a family who have fun, are dog confident and can show her how to relax and encourage her in her need to give affection. She needs to be retained on a lead at this stage around meeting dogs. Ideal with dog savvy older children. She is food centered so great for training; a little opportunist therefore.
Her Story: Ellie was found tied to a tree, in what turned out to be the early stages of pregnancy when spayed. We agreed to find her forever home. Ellie was fostered and homed but circumstances changed and she returned. Fostered for a long period but now in kennels.
Advert: Ellie enjoys her walks, cuddles on the sofa and ideally to lie beside your bed at night. She came from an impoverished background we feel and still a little uncomfortable if people play around with her food or move too close too soon but melts into strokes and shared activies as a true companion. Ellie wants to trust and has so much love to give, being great with all ages of people. She needs to build up confidence with dogs but this could be reflective of her past handlers. She loves to accompany a jogger or cyclist. Ellie is fun, truly laughs a lot and oh will play Footie or snuggle on your lap whilst you chill.
Ellie is stunningly beautiful in the 'fur'. She is fit and in good health. loves life. She loves her food, her cuddles and to relaxes with you. She concentrates with you, runs with you and will also happily settle whilst you are out. She is truly remarkable and will make a fabulous family dog. She loves visitors, including a cat who came into her garden! She needs a reminder keep her feet on the floor when she tells you she loves you! Ellie is our GOLDEN GIRL and enthusiasm is her middle name.
