Homing Requirements: Ollie's new family should have an understanding of 'working type terriers' and their specific requirements around their safety and management in new encounters and their excitement levels thereof. Older children but no babies or toddlers as is typical of this terrier type. No cats or small furries. Terrier-proof 6' panel fencing and secured exits.
His Story: Ollie has been owned since a pup. His family have recently had a baby and find Ollie hasn’t settled and his needs are no longer being met reference adequate companionship and exercise. Ollie is neutered and chipped and just going through the process of vaccination. Petersfield Hants retained in his home until a suitable family is found.
Advert: Ollie has all the inquisitiveness and loving nature of the Patterdale and the applied intelligence and affable nature of the Jack. He has a basic training course as a pup which serves him well in the home. Out in the field he is attuned and loving the stimulation of sensory info. Ollie isn't let off an extender lead outside and is reported to be excitable meeting dogs outside. Ollie was living with a small terrier bitch which was introduced to him as a puppy 2 years ago.
Ollie is a Black and White PatterJack with slender build. He enjoys life and adores people of all ages but lost his home as daughter had a baby and Ollie as a little too full on to live with a crawling baby. Ollie needs a family who can offer him activities and walks centred on his basic needs. He needs elementary understanding of the 'focused' terrier and their management. His forever family is out there! He is superb.
