POSTED ON BEHALF OF WALKIES RESCUE Piper is around seven months old , she was brought in extremely skinny and in quite a bad way. The person that brought her in claimed she was a stray. It later turned out Piper was his dog! Piper adores other dogs and children. We are looking for an active family home for Piper. If that could be you please contact us! Stage 1 The pic above was taken of Piper the 1st day she arrived at Walkies she was so skinny we had to keep her crated and change her position every few hours due to pressure sores. We put her straight on to a weight gain plan and she is being trickle fed throughout the day. Despite all this Piper is a happy loving dog and adores human companionship! Piper came in with the name Roxy due to her sad past we decided to change her name to Piper to give her a whole new beginning! Stage 2 The pic above was taken of Piper after just four days of being at Walkies. Already her coat has a shine to it and she has started gaining weight. Due to her breed mix Piper is high energy and due to her weight gain we are having to restrict her exercise levels. This is a shame as she adores playing with the others in the field . We have put Piper on Pro kolin to help her digestive system too. Call us on 07826 553783
