Barney is looking for an active home
Barney is two years old he came to Walkies along with his best pal Max. Their owners adored them and really didn’t want to re home them but were forced to due to work commitments and having to move to abroad. Barney gets on well with Max but they could cope separately. It would be nice if they were re homed together but if the right home comes up they can be separated. Barney gets on great with other dogs and loves playing fetch . We are looking for an active country home for Barney if that could be you please contact

Barney and Max settled in well Barney was a little nervous at first but it didn’t take long for him to come round. He soon forgot he was nervous after a few pack walks and games of fetch. Barney is very obedient and has wonderful manners he’s like the perfect gentleman. I’m looking forward to seeing what else comes out in his character , After a week at Walkies Barney has already started building relationships with Jasper and King and he did great at bringing nervous Piper out of her shell.
Stage 2
Barney has done great at training exercises and is so clever i adore working with Collies they are by far my most favourite breed. Barney has been great with our two children who are 7 and 9 and has enjoyed them joining in with football and fetch throughout the school holidays. Barney has been out in the car a few times and he really enjoys it. When out walking Barney is great he is good on the lead and listens well. Slowly over the past week Max and Barney have joined different friendship groups and are spending less and less time together. It’s sad but in a pack this sometimes happens. Max is going on a doggy sleep over soon so we will see how they are apart and how they cope.
