Name: Skeeter
Age: 10 weeks
Breed: Greyhound x Saluki.
Can I live with Children: Yes
Can I live with cats: No
Can I live with other dogs:yes
Fostered In: Wirral, Merseyside
Other Information
Skeeter is one of a litter of pups that came into. As these little souls were living outside I am so pleased that we were able to get them
Skeeter came in with a suspected Liver shunt. He has tested negative for which is fantastic news. He does seem much better and apart from a couple of incidents seems to be doing much better. It may be his problems were caused by a severe worm infestation.
Message from his foster mum:
Skeeter is awesome, one of the MOST confident little pups I have had the pleasure of meeting. Within two minutes of arriving he pee'd on his lovely new crate mattress and then went and got on the resident dogs big boys bed He was quiet for the first night and then Skeeter the snapper turtle came into force ha-ha - definite mouther, Harley's tail, my feet, fingers, clothes, xmas tree baubles but we are working on it and he is listening. I think he is 10 weeks now but I swear his legs get longer every few hours. He sleeps in a crate in my bedroom and cries for a few minutes but I just say 'quiet' and he settles with a big groan He eats well (greedy pup) and obviously with age has accidents in the house, but today, day 3, only 1 wee in the house everything else in the garden, of course I know when to put him out , after play, sleep, food, hourly..... and I say 'do a wee wee' and off he trots to do his thing. Funny to watch with these legs, when he's not taking toys out of my dogs mouth he is pawing at invisible ones Skeeter does not like his collar and will spend lots of time getting it off and he manages to do so. He is very vocal during play and has the most amazing squeaky yawn, a gorgeous pup who needs routine, love, people and toys.... oh and he's a bit of a stalker ha, lies in wait and then pounces on his prey ha-ha not sure if this is a breed thing, but my Harley tolerates him well.
As with all puppies it is a requirement of adoption that all puppies will be neutered at 6 months at your expense.
A voucher will be given at the time of adoption for a refund of £40 when he is neutered
For questions on your application please contact 0757 046 7308 10am to 6pm 7 days a week
