Joey, Labrador X, DOB 03.10
Homing requirements: Joey needs a family who are active and dog centred. Joey is good with dogs, off lead and has excellent recall. Joey is proven living with children over five years.
His Story: Joey is a Labrador X, was rescued as a pup and homed into an active young home with another Labrador, a Malamute and very young children. The family are now emigrating to Austrailia and leaving their dogs behind. They have rehomed their other 2 dogs. Joey comes to us from Ireland on Saturday St Patrick's day. Neutered, microchipped & vaccinated.
Advert: Joey has been a great family dog living with 2 very young children. Joey can be over-exuberant at times and loves to climb up for a cuddle. He has been trained to run in harness in "Mushing" - either to pull a scooter or bike. However, because he’s a bit on the small side, he needs to team up with another dog to pull the scooter over rough terrain, or over a long run. Joey has done agility and showed great promise: He’s fast, very agile and has tremendous jumping ability.
Joey is a 3 year old Labrador X and weighs approx. 15kgs and 20 inches to the shoulder. He is energetic and has lived in an active home and enjoys plenty of exercise. Joey will be in England as of St Patrick's day.
