Homing Requirements:Busta needs a dog competent home who will work with him to settle him in new surrounding. He needs a secure garden and thrives on routine. He could live as an only dog or with other dogs. Busta could live with dog friendly cats. Busta would prefer an adult home.
His Story: Busta's owner died and he was taken in by a family with other dogs but these dogs didn’t accept him. Busta came to his fosterer in May and has settled in with her 3 dogs. Busta is 6 years old, neutered, vax'd and chipped. He is fostered in Cambridgeshire
Advert: Busta lost his owner and his home. He has been in his foster home for 7 months with 3 other dogs. There was just a little positioning over toys and food initially, but now Busta is instigating play. Out on his walks he is keen and has taken training to connect in, to tame his pull, as with any terrier. He is off lead with his companions and meets dogs well. He has some chase instinct which needs managing i.e. loves the sound of a squeaky toy. Busta has learnt to share toys and food as he was displaying 'only dog' syndrome. His fosterer is conscious of his skill deficits and is making headway offering weekly training sessions, and agility.
Busta is an old fashioned black and tan Collie X Terrier type. All things considered Busta has come through this last year so well. He is doing so well to cope with a menagerie of stimulus, circumstance and varied activities. He needs a confident dog owner to lead him forwards and then he won’t look back.
