10 month old black and white male
3 and a half year old called hattie whose owner is VERY ill. She is currently living in a cattery and has a week left until cash runs out. More info on Hattie:
DOB: 07/05/2008
She has always been a little shy and timid from the minute I picked her up as a bundle of fluff kitten with her brother (she was the ignored one apparently). She has continued to be a little timid but only shown through disappearing upstairs initially if I ever have visitors. She does venture down though once she gets to know people. With me on the other hand she is exactly the opposite....incredibly affectionate and playful.....she enjoys her cuddles on her terms and she would often be on my lap or lay next to me on the sofa curled up in the fleece blanket.
She also has a very kissable white patch above her left eye and has a stunning purr. She will make a lovely pet for somebody but she is used to a quiet household as I live on my own. She has never lashed out at anybody, she just goes upstairs and takes herself off if she feels there is too much going on for her. She does go outside but rarely leaves the garden. She isn't a wanderer and I never had to worry about her not coming home. She also loved sitting in the window chasing the flies and watching the world go by. She got on with her brother absolutely fine until more recently when they became less friendly with each other hence why I have been happy to separate them for rehoming. I also wonder if my health issues and the fact that I have had to leave them much more with being in hospital has played a part in this.
She went into the cattery last Saturday and this is the 1st time she has been away from home in her 3 1/2 years. I spoke with them today and they said she is shy but quite settled. She is eating fine and has started to come out of hiding this last couple of days.
