POSTING ON BEHALF OF WALKIES RESCUE
Gwen is 7 months old she came to Walkies as a lovely police lady rescued her from an unsuitable environment. This doesn’t seemed to of effected her at-all she was a little nervous at first but we soon put a stop to that! She’s adorable and loves human companionship. Gwen gets on well with other dogs but much prefers having a humans lap to snuggle up on! We are looking for a forever home for Gwen with people who have time to spoil her rotten if that’s you please contact us!
Stage 1
Gwen settled in really well to Walkies she is a lovely gentle natured little girl and it’s a pleasure to work with her she really enjoys spending time with you and she appreciates every single cuddle! For the first few days we spent a lot of time with Gwen by herself to build up a bond. It didn’t take long she loves playing with toys and is food motivated she gets on well with dogs of all sizes.
Stage 2
Gwen had a bath and groom this week she was so good eve though it was her first time on the table i think she enjoyed all the attention she didn’t even flinch when we dried her. Gwen has had great fun playing stick this week and we have been doing lot’s of lead work with her. She listens well and loves praise. Her best pal is Jasper our Collie they get on so well. I think Gwen would do well in a home with another dog.
Stage 3
We took Gwen out for the day at walkies even though we have the field for of lead play we also like to get our re homers used to traffic and other things that occur in every day life. Gwen was so good off lead and she kept bringing sticks back for us to throw. Gwen will make someone a lovely companion shes very loyal and loves spending time with humans it’s now time for us to find her a special forever home!
