Eva came to Walkies from another rescue she is 11 months old loves other dogs and children. She was also fostered before hand in a family home. Eva is a very special girl and we have really enjoyed getting to know her. She has heaps of personality and is highly trainable, we are looking for a forever home for keeps for Eva. A home with lots of love and time to give maybe with another dog for company. If that could be you please contact us!
Stage 1
Eva settled in extremely well to Walkies she adores other dogs and loves the freedom she has here. She has a fab personality and loves playing fetch and chasing the hose pipe!! She has been great with our children i’m sure Eva originally was in a family home before she became a stray. The more i get to know about Eva the more i like about her i can imagine she was once a treasured pet. I find cases like Eva very sad. She dosen’t have any behaviour problems just the usual manners and basic training. She is food motivated and learns quickly we have already sorted out her jumping up.One of the first things top tackle was Eva’s weight gain so we have put her on a good quality puppy feed made by Royal canine. We have broken her feed down into four small meals the trick is to not put weight on to quickly. This has worked well and she already has a shine to her coat!
Stage 2
Eva has done so well these past few weeks her weight is perfect for her size she looks like a black GSD now . She has calmed down so much and has a very close bond with Sasha our lab. Eva gets on well with other dogs dominant temperament dogs suit her better. In regards to training Eva is making really good progress her fav treats are mini sausages she will do anything for them. In pack play times Eva has learnt to share and the pack has done a fab job of teaching her manners too.
