Homing Requirements: Bruce deserves a dog experienced family to love and care for him. He needs a harmonious atmosphere with Bruce's needs central to the family's sense of well being. Secure garden and regular active regime. On lead walks with confidence communicate through lead meeting off lead dogs.
His Story: Bruce was found stray and unclaimed. He was chip revealing his name Bruce and age 2006, owner did not respond to notification. Bruce came into our care and now neutered, fully vax'd and kennelled near Gatwick.
Advert: Bruce is a serious soul in kennels, but lightens up within a home setting. Bruce is a stable dog who loves to be with children. He has developed trust rapidly and his sense of security and worth is now evident in his being. He is in good health despite an extended period in kennels awaiting reclaim and then within Rescue. He walks calmly on the lead and mixes with other dogs well when approach controlled, gets a little head strong if dogs 'too in his face', but great if he keeps walks and allowed to be with his people and focused on his walk. He travels very well in the car secured or crated. Housetrained. Carries good training and exceedingly receptive to house rules; e.g. doesn't go on furniture or go upstairs if told.
Bruce is black, with a hint of brindle and a white blaze on his chest and little white paws. A lovely Staffie who carries 'cares' on his shoulders and so needs a loving home to treasure him. Given company and a task, Bruce will bubble into laughter and good cheer. He loves to play and to sit for strokes. Bruce is kind and very sincere. A big hit within our Rescue and with the kennel staff. It is the easiest thing in the world to love Bruce.
